Article Processing Charges and royalties

Author(s) of articles that appear in the Journal “Scriptus Manet” do not receive royalties. If the Journal accepts articles from authors who have participated in one of the Riga Technical University Liepaja Academy conferences, then a part of the conference participation fee is directed to cover the Article Processing Charges (editing, proofreading, layout, etc.). An author does not pay a fee for their article to be published in the Journal.

Sources of income

The Journal “Scriptus Manet” is published by the Riga Technical University Liepaja Academy, which offers institutional, organizational, and financial support. The proceeds from scientific activities (participation fees in conferences), various project funds, municipal target programs, private donors, scientific development funds, and its institutional budget are directed to cover Article Processing Charges. The Journal does not carry out direct marketing activities, and does not place advertisements.

The Editorial Board and the Editor-in-chief are approved by the Centre for Humanities and Arts of the Riga Technical University Liepaja Academy. Riga Technical University Liepaja Academy, the publisher, reserves the right to republish previous editions of articles without the consent of an author(s). If an edition has sold out, the proceeds are credited to the budget of the Riga Technical University Liepaja Academy for future editions of the Journal.
